This drawing depicts a TBM-1C Avenger of VC-42 aboard escort carrier USS BOGUE (CVE-9). Armed with Depth Bombs and Rockets, VC-42 perform anti-submarine operations in Atlantic during September 1944.

According to my reference. The pilot of this aircraft crashed into two other Avengers parked on the flight deck and damaged all three aircrafts. For his deed, his squadron awarded him a mock Iron Cross. That just go to show no matter how serious war is, there is alway a comical side in it somewhere.
