This drawing depicts a Bf109 G5 flown by one of the Luftwaffe Aces, Major Hermann Graf. Kommandeur of Jagdguppe 50. from summer of 1943 to March of 1944. Major Hermann Graf flown 830 operational sorties and scored 212 confirmed kills. He was the fifth Luftwaffe pilot to be awarded the Diamonds to the Oak Leaves and Swords of the Knight's Cross. |
