This drawing depicts a battle scars assault gun StuG III Ausf D waiting in ambush during the Russian campaign.

I really have fun working on this drawing. Of all the German's armor vehicles, the Stug III is my all time favorite. I laid down more pencil mileage on this drawing then anything I did so far. Not because the tank is hard to draw, it is easy. Is drawing all that vegetation around the StuG III to make this "Ambush" scene a killer. It's very time consuming, but at the end I think it come together very nice. Hope you will enjoy this drawing.
